This week's smiles.....week 189

Happy Friday to you all.  Many thanks to those who joined in last week by sharing their smiles.  I really love seeing what makes you all happy each week.

I am featuring Neet from last week cos even though she's been having a few health issues lately she still managed to find something to smile about and share with us.  I really hope things improve every day Neet and you soon return to full health.

The smiles I'm sharing this week are a few pics from a professional sitting that Mark and Gina had of little Theo.....I will say that he slept throughout and I just know the results will make you smile....

Just look how chilled out he is here with the record of his arrival on the clock and calendar.

What a cute little bundle he is eh?

Here he is lying very proudly on the blanket I knitted for him [just a shame it was the wrong side of the blanket eh?  :-) ].

And last but by no means least here he is showing that he is going to follow in the footsteps of his daddy, granddad and both great grandads by becoming a Shrewsbury Town football supporter....start them young I say.  :-)

I hope my pics have made you smile today.  Please leave me a message to let me know you've called by and do you best to share something that has made you smile this week by linking it below.

WOYWW....

Hi folks....It's a desk full of much the same again this week...

The little gingerbread houses have now been beaded up and a few buttons added so are now finished.

The little 'Joy' hangings have been beaded so are also finished.

Then I was left with a pile of red fabric too small to use for another stocking or Christmas sack so I cut it up, appliqued a few with decorations......

......backed them with some lining fabric and attached them to some red bias binding and hey presto....

I made 3 lengths of Christmas bunting.  :-)
Nothing goes to waste here as you can see. :-)

I've also made another little Memory bear out of a little one's Primary school uniform to remember the happy times there before moving onto Secondary school.....he seems very popular too. :-)

I hope you've enjoyed your visit today.  If you'd like to leave me a little message then I will do my best to pay you a return visit.  I love seeing what you've all been busy with each week.

This week's smiles.....week 188

Phew it's week 188.....how the weeks fly by and this week has been another week of smiles.

Firstly let me thank the six that joined in last week.  You are all very special people who are willing to do their best to share their smiles so I would like to thank you all this week.  It never seems fair to single one out when only a few of you join in as you all come with different things in your lives that has made you smile....how can I choose?

This week has seen three birthdays to celebrate this week....The twins have had their 5th birthday on the same day that our new yummy mummy, Gina had hers so I would like to say a big Happy birthday to them all.  Here are a few of the pics that has made us smile.....

Here's the birthday twinnies all dressed up in their party clothes....haven't they grown?

Their party was the first time I was in the same room as all 6 of our little grandees so it was a very special day for me too.

Here's the girly cousins all having cuddles with their new little cousin....love them all to bits.

Here's our new little family snuggling together....I love this pic.

And last but by no means least here's little Milly up to a few new tricks of this week....she never fails to make me smile.

I hope you have enjoyed sharing my smiles and will now leave me a little comment before linking up your own smiles below.
Have a happy week my friends.
Hugs,
Annie x

Whoops! I'm sorry I've just noticed no Mr Linky....just put it up!

WOYWW....

Hello all.  I hope you're all having a good week and those that need one I'm sending you a hug.  I know some of my best buddies have been poorly and I hope youre now feeling rather better.

Now to what you have called here to see....my desk and all the things I've been busy with this week...

This is where I am working on today making three Christmas hangers but this is only the tip of the iceberg for this week.

I went shopping with that 'much older' sister of mine on Saturday and have now made 6 Christmas sacks [three of which have already been ordered] plus.....

.....5 Christmas stockings [three of which have already been ordered] plus...

....six little Christmas mice and.....

....four little gingerbread houses still needing finishing [plus many more cut out ready to make] and....

....a very special Memory bear for a young lady who lost her mum in rather tragic circumstances.  She brought me some of her mum's clothes to make it out of and I rather like how it's turned out.  Such a lovely idea to have something to treasure to remember her mum by don't you think?

Of course I have also been sewing for my customers too and have shortened, repaired and replaced all sorts this week but I'm sure you would rather see the creative bits I'm working on.

Thanks for calling by.  If you'd like to leave me a little message to let me know you've called by I will do my best to pay you a return visit as soon as I can.

This week's smiles....week 187

Happy Friday to one and all.  We had a great turn out of smiles last week and I must thank you all for taking the time out of your busy lives to share your smiles.

I am featuring Robyn's post from last week with the gorgeous photo of her two little grandees enjoying their splash in the tub....I've thought of using those for all sorts but never for water play for the little ones.  It really made me smile Robyn so many thanks for sharing it with us.

As you can all imagine I have had a week full of smiles with the arrival of little Theo and I think this photo of all his little cousins meeting him for the first time says it all......I am one very proud nanny.

Plus I'm adding a pic of a little someone who makes me smile every day....she's my little buddy.

As you can see little Milly has grown a lot now but she still likes to come up for cuddles.

I hope you have enjoyed my smiles for this week and will leave me a little comment so I know you've called by and will then share something that has had you smiling this week by linking it below.

WOYWW....

Some of you may have noticed I was missing last week.  We had had a few sleepless nights with our daughter in law being poorly and little 'Bert' causing concerns so blogging had to be pushed to the back boiler for the week.  Some of you may have seen my post from Friday with the smiles that although 2 weeks early our little grandson arrived on Wednesday night at 9.45 so I would like to introduce little Theo Alexander to you all....

He weighed in at 6lb 10 oz and is now home with his mummy and daddy and doing just fine......I will be sharing more smiles maybe on Friday so be sure to drop by. :-)

Now to what is on my desk today....

Yes, sorry girls but I'm sorting through my Christmas fabrics and planning what projects I will be working on for Christmas this year....you have to remember that I make my little grandees something each for them to hang on their trees and this year my numbers have just gone up  :-)

You can also see a  stocking waiting for the name to go on it.

Ta da!  Now our latest little family member has been given his proper name I have been able to complete his stocking.

So there you go.  Now I have had a good root through my fabrics I have realised that I an very short on Christmas fabrics so will just have to go shopping soon.....any excuse!

Thank for calling by today.  If you leave me a little message I will do my best to pay you a return visit ASAP.  Hope you all have a good week and a special hug to those needing it [Margaret and Neet are top of my list for this week].
Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 186

Hello all.  Happy Friday to you all.  Many thanks to all who joined in the fun last week by sharing their smiles. I really do appreciate all your efforts to make the world a happier place but as there were only 5 who linked up I'm not featuring just one but thanking you all from the bottom of my heart.

It's been one of those weeks for us here.  My daughter in law was rushed to hospital by ambulance on Sunday and since then was in and out and feeling generally very poorly.  As you can imagine it's been a very worrying time but I must now put your minds at rest and let you know that she is now very much better because....

.....little Theo Alexander arrived rather rapidly at 9.45 on Wednesday 7th weighing 6lb 10oz.....here is a very proud Nanny and Grandad having our first cuddle last night.  Hes just beautiful [of course] and as you can imagine we are all very relieved to have him safely delivered.  I would like to say a huge thank you to Mark and Gina for making such a beautiful little man and wishing them huge Congratulations on becoming such amazing parents.....we really do love you all lots and can imagine many many happy times ahead.

Thanks for calling by to share my smiles.  Please leave me a little message to let me know you've called in and if you can please link up below to share your smiles below.

This week's smiles....week 185

Happy Friday to one and all.  Thank you to all who joined in the fun last week.  It's so lovely that you take the time out of your busy lives to share some of your smiles with us.  I'm featuring the gorgeous photo Lisca shared with us of her little Grandson....what a smiler he is.  Thanks Lisca for sharing it.

I'm pleased to say it's been another week of smiles for me this week but the photos I'm sharing are of the customer I had yesterday.......

Yes it's Neet from the WOYWW fame and she was brought to me by her lovely hubby all the way from Bolton with some sewing jobs :-)

For those that have never met Neet she is just as lovely as you imagine and she will be coming back to see me when I've finished her sewing. :-)

She came bearing this most gorgeous gift too.....I love it and it will be found a home on the wall in my sewing room.  Thank you so much Neet. :-)

The other thing I'm smiling at is the row of yellow hangers on my to do rail with all the sewing jobs Need brought to me.  They will keep me out of mischief for a while and I'm really thrilled to be sewing for her.....bet you can imagine what I will be doing today...and every job will find me smiling.  :-)

So, those are my smiles for this week.  Please leave me a little message to let me know you've called by and link up your smiles below.
Hugs,
